Depending on your version of Finale, you may also be able to access several additional sound choices. Within the Instrument Options tab, you can choose from several sound choices, including percussion, strings, or brass, as well as several other options. This will open a new tab labeled “Instrument Options”.
In the Score Manager, select the desired instrument and click on the Edit button. Changing the sound of an instrument in Finale can be done by first opening the Score Manager tab.
